What brands can I test in your showroom?

In our showroom you'll find a wide variety of mattresses from new and established brands, including online-only brands not typically found in stores. Nearly all of today's top online mattresses are available for in-store testing in the SleePare showroom, from the unique Purple line to more popular offerings like Casper, and Leesa. The SleePare showroom is the only place you can go to find out for yourself if online mattress brands like Saatva, Big Fig or Winkbeds are truly as good as they claim before making a purchase. The best part? New mattresses, pillows, and bedding arrive in store every day.

I have a particular product in mind. How can I know if it's available to test in-store?

Check out our website to see a list of products currently available for testing in our showroom. We update this list regularly, so make sure you check back often! You can also use our site's chat function to get in touch with us with regarding available mattresses or give us a call directly and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

Do I need an appointment to test the mattresses?

While it's best to make an appointment to be certain you're getting the most personalized experience possible, you're free to drop by the store at any time to test any of our mattresses or peruse our other products. Come on in for a free 30-minute nap on any of our mattresses or call us today to schedule an appointment for a more in-depth testing experience.

Where are you located and what are your opening hours?

Our Manhattan SleePare showroom is located at 218 West 30th St. We're open weekdays 10:00 am to 08:30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 am to 07:30 pm.

I'm not available during store hours. Can I schedule an appointment for some other time?

Give us a call at (347) 425-6001 and we'll do everything we can to find a convenient time for you to come by the showroom for your mattress test.

Does it cost anything to book a mattress trial?

SleePare offers you its services absolutely free, both online and in-person. We work hard to help you find the best products for you. Once you finalize your selection, you can order online yourself, or with the assistance of our trained sales staff. Some brands pay us a commission each time we sell one of their products – this is how we're able to offer our services free of charge to all of our customers.

Can I really take a nap to test the sleep quality of a mattress I'm interested in?

Yes, you can! In fact, we highly recommend it. We know it's almost impossible to get a real feel for how you'll sleep on a mattress just by sitting on it – you have to actually sleep on it! We encourage all of our customers to take a 30-minute nap on any mattress to really make an informed choice. And don't worry – we'll have a cup of coffee waiting for you when you wake up.

How do I make sure that I'm buying the right mattress for me?

Please discuss your preferences with our knowledgeable sales staff! Their experience and training can help you narrow down your choices and lead you to the most suitable mattresses for you, based on sleeping position, body type, and whether or not you have any mattress-exacerbated back problems. In the unlikely event that our staff can't convince you, our extensive collection of online mattress reviews, as well as our mattress comparison tool, can also help you find what you're looking for.

Will I be pressured into making a same-day purchase?

While we're happy to assist you in the buying process once you've found the best mattress for you, SleePare is not just about selling mattresses. There are no pushy salesmen in our showroom, and you won't be pressured to purchase any product if you're not ready - especially if it's something you don't absolutely love. Our staff is there to help you find the mattress, pillow, or bedding to best suit your needs and that will lead to a restful night's sleep, not to hassle you for a sale. Once you're ready to buy, we'll still be happy to assist you and provide you with access to discounts so you're sure to get the best price on the mattress of your dreams – guaranteed.

Is the SleePare showroom kid-friendly?

Children are welcome in the SleePare showroom – just make sure there's another adult who can supervise while you're taking a snooze.

Are pets allowed in the showroom?

Only leashed pets are allowed in the SleePare showroom. You may call us if you have any particular concerns.

Is your showroom ADA compliant?

Yes. Our showroom is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

Although my initial experience with SleePare was stellar (see original review below), what has followed has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing. We scheduled to have our mattress delivered on July 7; when my partner received an email update stating the mattress was only "in production" a few days before the scheduled delivery, he called Valerio. Valerio said he would call him right back and he NEVER DID. It is now July 14, we still do not have our bed, and Valerio NEVER called or texted either of us with any sort of update or explanation. I have been in conversation with a Sleepare customer service representative, but again, I have had essentially no luck with any sort of compensation. We are supposed to receive our mattress tomorrow, but at this point, I have zero faith in this company. I would be very careful ordering a mattress from here, especially if you ask for a later date for delivery.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Had a wonderful experience at SleePare, thanks to Valerio! Its great to have a showroom such as Sleepare's in order to sample beds that normally have to be bought online, sight unseen and un-felt.Ruveena helped me find a mattress thatI loved. She was lovely, gracious, patient and very knowledgeable. She did not pressure me or rush me in any way. Because i fell in love with more than one of the beds I sampled, it was hard to make a choice. Finally i did pick one, under no pressure but with helpful guidance from Ruveena. It will be cheaper than buying it online , Rubeena's great service and all of the above, combined have led to my decision to buy my new bed at Sleepare.
