Nectar gives customers a 365-night trial for all mattresses purchased from their website or authorized sellers. This gives you plenty of time to test the mattress and decide if it works for you.
You must sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before submitting a return request. Mattresses must be used properly and kept in donatable condition — no rips, stains, mold, or heavy wear.

Nectar offers a no-hassle Nectar return policy — but it does require a few steps. There are no return fees, but the product must meet all return conditions.

4 Steps to Return a Nectar Mattress
- Sleep on your mattress for at least 30 nights.

- Submit any required documentation within 30 days of starting your return request.
- Nectar will schedule a pickup, and a Donation Partner will assess and collect your mattress.

Donation Requirement & Mattress Condition
All returned mattresses must be in sanitary condition with no signs of misuse. If damage is found (e.g., mold, sagging from improper foundation use), the return may be denied.
Nectar’s donation partners make the final decision. If they decline the mattress, Nectar may not approve your refund.
What You Can and Can’t Return
Refund Policy
Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of pickup. Here’s what you should know:
- No fees for processing a return
- Shipping, White Glove delivery, and recycling charges are not refunded
- Discounts and promo codes are not refunded
- If your mattress came with a free gift, you can keep or donate it — but its value won’t be refunded
Exchanges & Cancellations
If you'd like a different Nectar mattress, returns are handled first. After your return is approved, you can place a new order for the replacement model. You can only exchange once.
You may cancel any order before it has been processed.
What Happens to Returned Mattresses?
Returned mattresses are picked up by local donation partners, who inspect and determine eligibility for donation. If accepted, your mattress is donated. If it doesn’t qualify, Nectar may not approve the return — so keeping your mattress in good condition is key.

Can you return a Nectar mattress?
Yes. You can return a Nectar mattress anytime between day 30 and day 365 of your trial period. It must be clean, undamaged, and used with a proper foundation.
What happens if I don’t like my Nectar mattress?
If you’re unsatisfied after 30 nights, you can start a return. Nectar will schedule a pickup and inspect the mattress. If approved, you’ll get a full refund.
Can you return a mattress after sleeping on it?
Yes — as long as you’ve tried it for at least 30 nights and it’s still in good condition. The return must happen within 365 days of delivery.
Does Nectar charge for returns?
No, Nectar does not charge restocking or return fees. However, shipping costs, White Glove delivery, and recycling fees are not refunded.
What if my mattress is stained or damaged?
Nectar may reject returns for mattresses with rips, stains, mold, or excessive wear. Keep the mattress clean and use a proper base to protect it during the trial.
Can I return opened accessories or bedding?
No. Only unopened bedding or accessories in original packaging can be returned. Opened pillows, however, can be returned within 30 nights.
How long does it take to get my refund?
After your return is approved and the mattress is picked up, you’ll get your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Can I cancel my Nectar order?
Yes. You can cancel an order anytime before it ships. Just contact Nectar’s customer service to request cancellation.
What if I got a free gift with my mattress?
You can keep or donate the gift, but you won’t receive any refund for its value. Gifts are not required to be returned.
Can I exchange my mattress instead of returning it?
Sort of — exchanges are treated as returns. Once approved, you can place a new order. You can only exchange a product once.
