Do I need an appointment to test the mattresses?

While it's best to make an appointment to be certain you're getting the most personalized experience possible, you're free to drop by the store at any time to test any of our mattresses or peruse our other products. Come on in for a free 30-minute nap on any of our mattresses or call us today to schedule an appointment for a more in-depth testing experience.

Where are you located and what are your opening hours?

Our Manhattan SleePare showroom is located at 218 West 30th St. We're open weekdays 10:00 am to 08:30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 am to 07:30 pm.

I'm not available during store hours. Can I schedule an appointment for some other time?

Give us a call at (347) 425-6001 and we'll do everything we can to find a convenient time for you to come by the showroom for your mattress test.

Does it cost anything to book a mattress trial?

SleePare offers you its services absolutely free, both online and in-person. We work hard to help you find the best products for you. Once you finalize your selection, you can order online yourself, or with the assistance of our trained sales staff. Some brands pay us a commission each time we sell one of their products – this is how we're able to offer our services free of charge to all of our customers.

Can I really take a nap to test the sleep quality of a mattress I'm interested in?

Yes, you can! In fact, we highly recommend it. We know it's almost impossible to get a real feel for how you'll sleep on a mattress just by sitting on it – you have to actually sleep on it! We encourage all of our customers to take a 30-minute nap on any mattress to really make an informed choice. And don't worry – we'll have a cup of coffee waiting for you when you wake up.

How do I make sure that I'm buying the right mattress for me?

Please discuss your preferences with our knowledgeable sales staff! Their experience and training can help you narrow down your choices and lead you to the most suitable mattresses for you, based on sleeping position, body type, and whether or not you have any mattress-exacerbated back problems. I've bought the wrong mattress. Can I exchange it?

During your trial period, you can exchange your mattress once with any mattress offered in the Boston store. To exchange your mattress, please follow SleePare’s return policy procedure . In order to place an order for an exchanged mattress, customers are required to give a $500 returnable deposit. This payment will be refunded, minus/plus any cost difference between the original and exchanged mattress. Once an exchange has been made, the exchanged mattress will result in a final sale. Warranty still applies.

The good: Tyler was a knowledgeable sales person & wasn't pushy, showroom is dimly-lit & clean, only place to be able to try online bed-in-a-box mattresses, had the brands we were interested in (mainly Helix and Leesa). Came here with the intention of trying & then buying online, since I live in NH and no sales tax, but since it is being shipped to NH I didn't have to pay MA tax and the in-store price was ~$100 cheaper than online. But that $100 savings comes with a cost.....The Bad: Since placing the order it has been almost radio silence. You think you set a delivery date and it gets delivered that day? Think again. Apparently it can "take up to a week after the delivery date" according to the salesperson, to get it (he never mentioned us to that in the store. If he had I would have made my delivery date earlier). We're coming up on almost a week past the delivery date and barely any updates. My wife is 8 months pregnant & we moved into a new apartment and still don't have our bed. Received a tracking number yesterday via email (5 days after the supposed delivery date) and today it still has no estimated delivery date, so who knows when it will actually get here. Tyler has not been very attentive when I reach out to him directly, I feel like I have to hound him to get updates. An employee should be following up with me, not me having to reach out multiple times.We also ordered a pillow separately, to be sent to us before the mattress, and ZERO update on that (not even a tracking number). Even after I called the main Sleepare customer service line (no phone number for the local store, which is a bit shady now that I think about it) there is still zero whereabouts for the pillow. Paid upfront for it and zero clue where it is or if we'll get it. If we don't get any information on the pillow shortly we'll be disputing the charge on our credit card.Unfortunately this happens somewhat often if you read the other bad reviews here. Those other reviews echo exactly what my issues are. I will update the review if/when things get better or worse. Good idea for a business, but unfortunately needs A LOT of work in the customer service area. Once they have your money don't expect much from them. If we have to return the mattress I fear for dealing with them again.

Definitely the best mattress store I have been to. My wife and I have been suffering with lower back pain on our Casper for over two years now. I was a little skeptical about online brands, but when I found out that I can try it at Sleepare we were super excited. When we arrived Fazi showed us all mattresses and she was extremely knowledgeable about the mattresses. She took her time and explained the difference between all of them and DID NOT pressure us into buying one which I appreciate the most.
We end up buying Helix Dawn Luxe which arrived in exactly six days after placing order, no off-gassing or two day wait time to sleep on it. I absolutely love my mattress and recommend it to anyone! Also, I want to thank Fazi again who gave us her number, so I literally annoyed her everyday with thousands of questions and she patiently replied to all of them. Had the best experience with Valerio - he was so engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. He was also very kind to our 5-year-old daughter who left the store asking when he was going to teach her Spanish (lol).
