Fazi was super helpful and informative! This store is different than the usual brands like Ashley’s or Raymour & Flanigan. It’s more private and clean.

Very very cozy store with knowledgable and friendly staff. They gave me all the time I needed to sample. I had a thousand questions and they answered all of them. Felt very taken care of. Forgot I was in midtown manhattan! lol.

This is the second time buying a mattress from SleePare, it was a really positive experience the first time around and the second time around was exactly the same. Setareh was incredibly patient and knowledgeable - an absolute pleasure to work with her. Highly recommend!!!

We wanted to update our uncomfortable mattress, and Valerio was amazing. He checked in to make sure we were okay throughout the stay and encouraged us to take our time trying out the mattresses. We never felt rushed for our decision, and he was more than happy to provide information about different types of mattresses/pillows. Even though it was the end of the store hours, he took the extra step to help us place an order. Valerio is so friendly and welcoming, which made our Sleepare experience great.

Bought a mattress at SleePare a couple months ago. Highly recommend this place. We were able to try out a bunch of mattresses. Ended up with a great one that we couldn’t have tried out anywhere else. People who work there are great. They know what they’re talking about and definitely no high pressure sales or anything like that.

Our visit was great! It was wonderful to be able to try a variety of mattress brands in person and have a guide to help point out differences and make suggestions based on sleep preferences. Madina was awesome! 😄

While purchasing a new mattress is never necessarily a comfortable experience, our associate Valerio made this trip an absolute delight. While juggling numerous patrons he made us feel right at home. Instead of telling us what he thought we should have and force feeding us a prescribed sales pitch he was honest, personable, and delivered a wealth of information about mattresses that goes well beyond what we knew prior to entering. We are so thankful for a store such as this; reading endless biased reviews online of e-mattress brands unable to try is an absolute nightmare when you're contemplating paying thousands for uncertainty. After about 45 minutes of deliberation we walk away the proud owners of a new mattress and are looking forward to sleeping soundly with our new purchase.

Valerio is great! He is knowledgeable, patient and personable. He is so dedicated to satisfaction that he gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had questions or was not satisfied with my purchase, at any time.I was so confused by the numerous online retail mattress companies and all of them claiming to be the best. I was so happy to find the showroom to be able to test them out.

After buying the wrong mattress online a couple of months ago, a friend recommended SleePare. We had an appointment with Valerio today and he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I wish we’d come here right away. Now we are looking forward to our new mattress!

If you're on the fence about heading into SleePare, make the appointment and you won't be disappointed. I made an appointment on a whim after seeing a reddit post on r/AskNYC.With Fazi's systematic and relaxed approach, it was an amazing experience. Anytime I had a question about the composition or price of a mattress, she had the information immediately. I got to try out almost all of the hybrid mattresses in the store while I was in the shop and the appointment system makes it so that you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. It felt almost like a sleep consultation as I got to know what kind of mattress I like sleeping on. If all mattress shops were like this, I think we'd all be better sleepers.TLDR: If you're in NYC and need a mattress, definitely go!

Medina was very help and patient. She was also very knowledgeable about the products which helped me make an informed decision and also helped me find the right product for my needs. Even when there was an issue with shipping and delivery, she was very prompt to support and set things straight. I would love to work with her again in the future, but hopefully not too soon, I love my new bed and hope to have it for a LONG time.

Very friendly and attentive personnel - Madina was very patient and guided us through the stressful process of selecting a right pillow - she found us the one and made this process very smooth!Store itself has a great selection of the mattress and pillows. I had great experience working with Madina to find the mattress. Madina is very patience. She let me try sleeping on different mattress without giving me pressure to buy. I ended up choosing Winkbed Luxury firm mattress. I would recommend it since it helps addressing back pain and neck pain issues. The pillow top design make it feel so comfy while still has enough support. I am also a side sleeper and it does help me to sleep on my side without feeling pressure on my shoulder. My weight is way lighter than my partner and our previous mattress is too soft and it sink led and made it not even. This issue is solved by this Winkbed luxury firm mattress. SleePare do a match program to match sales price on Winkbed’s website and gave a little saving like 20 dollars on buying from them.

He showed me so many different mattresses knew what I was looking for a gave me an unbelievable price. I still can't believe the quality and the price of the mattress I am getting. Made an appointment for today and was meet by Valerio. He was outstanding. He knowledge and patience made the experience easy and non-stressful. I went in with a specific idea of what I needed and the store with their wide variety of top mattresses and Valerio with his understanding of what I was looking for found me the perfect fit. Amazing customer service.10/10 recommended it.This was my first time investing in a mattress to have more quality and comfortable sleep.I have so many issues with my back. I have a lumbar spine, scoliosis, herniated disk, and I deal with pain every single day.Madina assisted me a lot with her expert knowledge and provided guidance with her warm personality to make sure that I find the best mattress to improve my sleep which is huge portion of our life.She made me try all of the mattresses and made me feel safe to try them like as if I was at home to make sure I have no doubts. She answered all of questions and concerns. This place also offers a lot of different brand’s mattresses that are high quality and you can find a great mattress for an affordable price. Again, please make sure to come to this place before buying mattresses because before coming here I was going to buy a different mattress online and after coming here, I made a completely different decision and found the perfect mattress that’s suitable for me. Valerio educated us on exactly what we're looking for and how to see if a mattress is right for us. He also gave us the time and space to make the best decision for us. We laughed. We tested beds. After spending hours pouring over online reviews, it became immediately obvious that my research was useless without being able to try the mattresses in person. Valerio took complete care of us and my wife and I were able to make a decision on our first visit. Can’t comment on the mattress itself yet since it hasn’t arrived, but we were very impressed with Sleepare and their return policy. I even checked the price of every mattress we tried with online listings and Sleepare beat or matched every one of them. They didn’t have every mattress i was interested in, but after spending time trying them out we knew we couldn’t get anything we hadn’t tried in person first. We made an appointment, but it was obvious that that wasn’t necessary and you can just walk in. Thanks again Valerio!

My husband and I have been looking at online mattresses in a box, but wanted to be able to test them first and feel them, which is how we found SleePare. Normally you need an appointment, but they also let us just walk in. They were EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable and had amazing customer service. They guided us to mattresses based on our likes and dislikes and it felt like a whole professional experience. Felt clean too! Would definitely recommend coming here!

Great experience with Valerio at NYC Sleepare. Arrived early and he accommodated me right away. Gave great explanations regarding styles of the different brands to choose the best one for me. Assisted with all purchasing steps and explained the delivery method. Mattress arrived on-time and it met all expectations that Valerio said it would. Very happy with entire experience!

I bought a pillow and mattress from SleePare store in NYC in June 2022. The sales rep was really knowledgable and patient. My experience in the store was very good.I mainly want to comment on the return process, which was different from the bad reviews I read. After receiving both items, I wanted to return them but started to worry I wouldn’t get my money back after reading so many bad reviews about the return process.However I actually had a good experience with their customer service. Faria helped me with the entire process for both returns, as well as a price match inquiry. She returned all my phone calls and emails promptly and was always polite. She even sent an email in writing to confirm what we spoke about on the phone after I asked for one.Bruce, the customer service manager, was also very professional when I spoke with him to give my CC info for the refund. He clearly informed me of when it would be processed, how long it would take, etc.The person responsible for picking up the mattress called me to me schedule a date to pick up the mattress right away. They came on time and the pickup only took a few minutes.I will mention refunds did take some time to be processed (pillow took about a week, mattress took about 3 weeks from when it was picked up), but I sent a few reminder emails and Faria always responded. Since only managers are able to process the refunds, I think Faria did her best to relay the open request to her managers. Eventually I called about the mattress return and Faria helped to expedite the refund so I received it the next day.I’m not sure if the customer service team has changed since the other reviews were written, but I got the impression that the customer service team is genuinely willing to help and honor their return policy. They are probably very busy, but if you are patient you will get your refund back :)
