AmeriSleep AS5 is a 14-inch high mattress with a blend of four layers of customized foams. It is built to provide cushioned, soft support for even weight distribution and pressure-relief.
The top layer is made of Bio-Pur™ Open-Cell memory foam having 3 inches thickness. The comfort foam is designed to let you sink in due to slow response while offering adequate conformity to the body. You will enjoy a cool sleep, all thanks to improved airflow due to its ventilated structure.
Next, is 2-inches thick Active Flex layer offering quick bounce with added cushioning. You enjoy a floaty feel without getting stuck in the soft foams as you dip further in the mattress. The extra buoyancy makes it easier for you to change sides without clumping the materials underneath.
Then comes the transition foam, Surface Modification Technology (SMT) for resilience and firmness. This layer provides added support to the back and other pressure-sensitive areas for comfortable back alignment and pain-relief. The porous structure wicks away heat and moisture giving a cloud-like feel.
The base is made of Bio-Core™ foam resistant to sagging. Even after using regularly, the mattress will not lose its shape or collapse under pressure. Highly suitable for green life as it has plant-based, eco-friendly components. This layer isolates motion making AS5 highly suitable for bed sharing with your partner, pets and/or kids.
The mattress is covered with a stretchable top made of advanced fabric having 13 thermoreactive minerals, Celliant. The material is designed to improve the performance of the mattress with its cooling effects and recovery benefits.
